Executive Director Hired

We are excited to announce, as of March, a new executive director has been hired to serve with us at CRLA! Jessie Mae MacDougall is a resident of a nearby town and has enjoyed recreating in this area with her friends and family. She has abundant experience in water quality protection and 12 years managing a small business. Since her start at CRLA Jessie Mae has been getting acquainted and helping us organize. This year she will focus on the Courtesy Boat Inspection Program while keeping the ongoing efforts of Conservation Corps and LakeSmart programs in our midst. Jessie Mae has served the communities of Maine in watershed management with the Cobbossee Watershed District, Kennebec Land Trust, University of Maine Cooperative Extension, Maine Department of Environmental Protection and Maine Audubon. We look forward to putting her expertise and experience in Watershed Management and small organizations to work in the China Region.
